Hi

Is there a supply temp. for radiant heat I should not exceed, going to my concret pad??

What would you recommend as a max temp.

Thanks

This question is a little vague, but think about it this way. When someone designs your system, they will review different layouts AND different design temperatures in order to achieve a balanced system. Spead the tubes further apart and you may need to increse the temp; closer could use lower temp, etc.

In theory there will be a max temp, but most radiant systems use a lower temp for normal use.

You can run any temp you want within the concrete, however few systems run at that high a temp, most seem to run at 140, although they can be hotter when needed.

Also keep in mind your floor covering affects not only the heat output, but the actual longevity of the flooring material. Some mfg floors do not like, read...are not warranteed....for high temp floor heat systems.
