raising a driveway help

Hi,
I have a concrete driveway that needs to be raised about 2 inches so that it is higher than the yard. It doesn't drain currently. Problem is that it needs to be feathered out to almost nothing on one end and I'm worried that it will not work well if a car rolls over the very thin area. The current dirveway is in great shape so there is no problem with support. All suggestions will be much appreciated.
